Daniel Bradley Furniture is a multi disciplinary design and craft company, undertaking a wide range of projects in domestic and commercial areas. From fitted furniture to bespoke pieces, to exhibition stands and products, nothing is out of reach. Working closely with clients is key—either with private residents, designing and making their ideal furniture—or collaborating with designers and architects offering deep knowledge of construction and materials to realise grand projects.

We design and make bespoke residential furniture with the belief that a commissioned piece should always fit within the architectural style of your home. We work closely with the client on the functional requirements and then derive a design that fits and complements their environment. Sometimes the function leads - as in a folding English Walnut and stainless steel picnic table that fits into the back of country car,; and other times the architecture is paramount such as when designing a writing desk for a Georgian rectory. Projects have run the gamut from jewelry boxes to a lady’s dressing table mostly in wood but with elements of leather and metal when applicable. Martin spent a lifetime designing and making bespoke furniture for clients, both in the field of corporate contract furniture and for private domestic clients. He employed a small team of craftsmen & women and made furniture for the home and office, corporate clients, local authorities, museums & galleries, churches, government offices and universities. He was recognised for his outstanding career as a designer and maker of furniture and his significant contribution to the British furniture industry with The Furniture Makers’ Company “Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2015.

When he retired, Martin founded the co-operative with a small group of designers and makers to ensure that the workshop would continue to produce fine furniture for years to come.

Working predominantly in wood, I combine my experience and craftsmanship with modern techniques to get the best solution for each project and space—whether it’s a new dining table for an existing, well-loved set of classic chairs, or a desk that fits perfectly into a not so perfectly square corner.
